  • Acquisition
    A separate group of objects of Japanese art in the Museum collection are works by the 20th century Japanese artists. The objects were donated to the museum in 1973 by Mitsugi Mochida, President of Bijutsu Hochi, a Tokyo publishing house. Among nearly one hundred and fifty objects, there are ceramics of celebrated artists. This vase is the only example of works by the celebrated Japanese potter Fujihira Shin in Polish collections.
